Local and expatriate payroll

Payslips, CNSS, withholding taxes, seconded and expatriate staff, social security agreements, certificates, joiners and leavers, documentation for head office.

Subsidiary tax compliance

Monthly and annual returns, corporate tax and instalments, tax incentives, withholding on services billed by the parent, transfer pricing documentation, support during tax audits.

Statutory audit and component audit

Audit of the annual accounts under International Standards on Auditing, group audit instructions, component report for the group auditor, agreed-upon procedures, within the group's closing timetable.

Dividends and exchange control

Transfer file for dividends, royalties and intragroup repayments, dealings with the bank and the Central Bank, within the group's deadlines.

How we work with head office

1. One point of contact. A dedicated partner and engagement manager, reachable in the group's language, who answer within 24 hours.

2. The group's calendar. Monthly, quarterly and annual closings aligned with the group's dates, with a dashboard of Tunisian obligations.

3. Your tools or ours. Work on the group's software when it is open remotely, otherwise on our tools with an export in your format.

4. Transparency. Shared access to documents, filed returns and correspondence with the administration; no surprises at closing.

Questions foreign groups ask us

Can you keep the books directly in our group's chart of accounts?

The statutory books must follow the Tunisian accounting system, which applies to every company established in Tunisia. We overlay a mapping to your chart of accounts or to IFRS and deliver the reporting in your format at each closing.

Who approves the subsidiary's accounts, and is a statutory auditor required?

The accounts are drawn up by the subsidiary's management. Appointing a statutory auditor depends on the legal form and on thresholds of total assets, revenue and headcount; we check your position and, where required, hold the mandate or work with the auditor already appointed.

Can you work with our group auditor?

Yes. We act as component auditor under the group's instructions and International Standards on Auditing, and deliver the component report within the consolidation timetable.

Can a Tunisian subsidiary repatriate its dividends?

Yes, for investments made in foreign currency and duly declared, on presentation of a supporting file to the bank. We prepare that file and follow the transfer; our online check gives a first answer.

Do you publish your fees?

No: each engagement is quoted in a tailored proposal, in line with the rules of the profession. The first conversation is free and confidential.
